I am a noob and using a controller and am dominating way more than I thought I would. I am not getting owned with my controller. And I do not like sitting up with a keyboard and mouse. And just started playing a couple days ago and I get on top quite often. I have never played a CS game in my life. And A PS4 controller is much better at precision than you are used to with other controllers. I think you underestimate how good some of us are with controllers. But entering in the code resets EVERYTHING, which means I have to completely reprogram the controls EVERY time. I wouldn't have that much of an issue if all I had to do was enter in the code. But that reset all my settings and it is not working until I enter that code before EVERY game. Now today I accidentally didn't pair my PS4 controller properly before starting the game and it forced me to do the exec again. I was able to leave games, restart my computer and it worked great and saved my custom button settings. That got it working and for that day and the next it worked fine. So when I first set it up, it wouldn't work once the game started, so after doing some googling I fixed it by opening the developer console and typing in exec. And the PS4 controller(what I use) is MUCH better than the 360 when it comes to precision imo. Maybe some of you hate it, but personally, with the right look speed adjustments and the very fluid use of buttons like crouch, reload, weapon swap scope and everything else, it has some advantages that can make up for the slight loss in precision. But I am a console person and I just got the game the other day (never played CS before) and using a controller I have been doing quite well already and have been at the top of the scoreboard quite often. I know, I know you guys hate people using controllers.
